User acceptance testing

User acceptance testing

User acceptance testing (UAT) is the comprehensive testing of applications, systems or solutions to ensure that they meet the requirements and expectations of end users. UAT involves real users testing functionality, usability and performance to ensure that the product meets their needs before going live. For example, in agile project management, UAT can be used to analyse how users interact with the product, and the findings can be used to improve the product throughout the project.
